Terrible, Scammers, money thirsty uncaring. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

If you are a student please avoid cobblestone estates. They scammed me and my friends out of £1,000. They refused to give us back our deposits when we decided we no longer wanted to work with them. Our estate agent left the company right after the signing of our contracts and the paying our deposits which amounted to £1,000. We did not know he had left and for 3 months we could not get through to him or anyone. After going to the office the manager Joe showed no empathy and refused to give us back our deposits. He also told me he was putting me on loud speaker so all of his colleagues could hear me ‘complain to him about my deposit’. They are very unprofessional and rude. They do not care for university students and will target you to scam. I’ve talked to other students from the universities in Gillingham who have had similar experiences where their full deposits have been taken despite being denied access to move in. AVOID COBBLESTONE ESTATES STUDENTS I REPEAT AVOID.

We used the services of many of the area’s estate agencies but our best experiences by far were at Cobblestones. Cobblestones being local, are intimately aware of the market. Their processes are very effective and professional, offering best options for both vendors and buyers alike. They are also accessible 6 days a week and respond quickly to communications.
The purchase of the first property we made an offer on ended abruptly when the vendor could not demonstrate a valid title. However on the very next day Cobblestones offered a viewing on a property that met our exact requirements. They then patiently shepherded both parties towards completing the transaction, responding to queries quickly offering professional advice along the way. We look forward to working with Cobblestone Estates in the days ahead.
