Cockerham Sands Country Park

Caravan great receptionist very polite .negatives people on site not very freindly.bar advertised 12 till 2 opening times .it was my 70th birthday on the tuesday. Had freinds come and visit .went to club at 12 30 only to find it shut .i think that was disgusting would not have booked the site if we had known .let themselves down .wont be going back again

Booked a nice break for 7 nights.. the minute we walked into the caravan the dog and cheesy feet Smell!! Wow Was awful!! As we checked in at almost 9 we had to go across the road to the porters house for keys.. at this point we were tired and just wanted to relax so looked for the nearest supermarket we drove into Lancaster to Sainsbury's and bought loads of spray detol cleaning wipes the lot.. there were Long hairs over the sofa even one hanging from the microwave door!! sticky marks all around he kitchen area I literally washed the whole lot! And then the lounge area was ok sprayed the carpets.. and then was ok to chill!! Then the minute we decided to go to bed we had to make them bedding up ourselves to see the duvet full of small
Little hairs I picked them of but the minute I saw a crusty yellow stain that was it we was off no chance were we staying.. left the keys on the side and drove home! Called the next day to get a refund the woman was rude said the owner would call back never did now I will fight my case! No one book this place for a holiday!

Fab clean friendly site...central for so many places!

Booked through Hoseasons, site was clean and seemed well looked after. Our caravan was very nice, appeared new, a 2 bed,Thirlmere, very clean & tidy, double glazed, central heating, 1 en suite, WiFi ( however were not told of our own WiFi until 3rd day when I was asking about club WiFi). Right on the coast, with access to coast path in both directions. A Shop is on site, for top ups + extras. Coming from the a south, nearest supermarkets in Garstang to shop before you arrive. Staff in office and shop, helpful and polite. It has, but we did not use, swimming pool, kids playground, club, restaurant, launderette. Good for a quiet holiday, and walking. Don't think it's good as a beach holiday as some dangerous sand/mud. Sea comes in very fast, and when out, is very very far out, can hardly be seen.
A long 3mile single track road takes you from main road to site, but lovely views all around - countryside, hills, farm animals etc.

Excellent site been there twice this year staff amazing caravans immaculate.

Second time here with our kids and love it reception staff very friendly and lovely caravan amazing ,Nutterjacks food great and wine fab ,staff well what can I say Amanda the lady with the black hair and Dave you guys are absolutely fantastic wee can't wait until our next stay xxxxxx from the Scots

Wonderfully friendly clean place, lovely refreshing walks for your pets, 5 stars all round, highly recommend

The bar is well stocked and the staff are very welcoming. Non visitors are allowed to use the bar but have to pay for entry for certain weekend events.
