Wow!!!! Just had the best lunch ever��� Would highly recommend this place, spotlessly clean, fantastic service and the food was outstanding!!! Wish we stayed nearer as would make it a regular thing ���

Went for my second visit to Coco Mill on my birthday. The meal was excellent, all three courses, it was nice and hot, nicely presented and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Went for lunch with my husband and daughter for the first time had a sharing platter and some chips and nude slaw absolutely lovely food esp the rack of ribs, staff very friendly and efficient highly recommend

We waited a while to be served but the food and cocktails were gorgeous. I had the steak with home cooked chips and pepper corn sauce and the Chelsea Flower Show cocktail. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

We came last night to had a girlie night out to celebrate a friends 30th birthday

We had the buffet which had a fantastic choice and we certainly did not go home hungry, staff were very helpful and cocktails were brill too. First time I had been but will be back and will highly recommend to others looking for a lovely place to eat.

I came to coco mill with 6 of my friends and we absolutly loved it. It was a bank holiday so we expected the busy rush, but the food came quick enough for the 6 of us! Would definetly recommend. Food and atmosphere was amazing. Thankyou!!

Had lunch there today with my Husband and it was lovely. I’ve been about 6-7 times over the past few months and every single time I’ve enjoyed the food but the thing that makes this place is the staff. Lovely warm greeting and service was perfect after that every time.

First time visiting this place last night, me and my husband both thought the food was superb and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and attentive. No faults anywhere, will definatley be coming back soon.

Came last night for a work night out. Was 7 of us. Our food was pre booked. I had the chicken Caesar salad. Was amazing. Such a big plateful of food. There was a littlr bit of wait for the food but didn't mind as gave us time to chat and sample some of the fab selection of gins which were very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Called in on the off chance to have a meal the staff managed to find a table for us they were very friendly and helpful. We both had sirloin steak with bone marrow sauce absolutely gorgeous will certainly go back.

Went here last night on a couples date night food was great drinks were good aswel. Only thing I would say is that we struggled to make conversation as the music was really loud and alot of people were more there for drinks than food maybe keep the tables for people who are eating and have an area for the drinkers apart from that all good. Staff were really friendly will be back for food again ��

Stopped in for a bite to eat before the cinema last night. Coco Mill is a great addition to Carlisle. Really nice, welcoming environment, friendly service and tasty food. I would definitely recommend the Yorkshire Pudding and Pulled Beef starter. My main course got muddled up when processing the order and so I received a different main course to what I'd originally chosen, nevertheless it was still delicious and they did adjust the bill as a gesture of goodwill too which was a nice touch. Thanks all for a lovely evening. I will definitely be back!

First time at Coco Mills. The food was great. Washed down with the foaming ale. The place was very noisy though. Will be back.Some of the watresses were very sexy. Would say a little bit disorganisation but not to bad for being opened a few weeks...... seen worse in better establishments......

So give it a try..... Maybe they could keep the music down a bit........

Before going to Coco Mill I had a couple of recommendations, but to be honest I was not too impressed. We seemed to have got the second rate table and hard chairs and initial drinks service was slow, possibly as the waiting staff seemed to be doing a bit of a shift handover.

The meat platter was the best of what we had, the steak pie I had was made of good meat. But the presentation and only having mushy peas and chips was very low end pub food.

The staff did accommodate a request for yougart to cool the hot Thai curry, which was appreciated.

The increasing noise levels as the evening went on made talk across the table almost impossible.



What is it with modern restaurants that strip out any sound absorbing decor.



I may consider a lunch time return when the atmosphere may be a bit more relaxed. But then again Carlisle has other places to try.

Went for food Sunday (mid afternoon) ... staff were of plenty, but totally unorganised and out of their depth, tables that were reserved did not have reserved displayed on them. Waitress couldn't even get an order of 2 basic soft drinks correct! Waited at least an hour for our food, at which point we had to ask as we were loosing the will to live... Food arrived bout 10 mins later... the sweet potato fries n veg that accompanied the duck wings were well past their best; obviously had been sitting for ages as were Luke warm, the potato cubes and broccoli that accompanied the chicken parmesan were exactly the same... Cold, unappetising and over cooked... £25 later... totally unimpressed... sadly won't be back!!! We did think about sending the meal back but would we of waited another hour or maybe two!???

My meal was bloody awful. I never ate hardly any of it. I had the crispy Thai noodles with the satay chicken. The chicken was welded on to the skewers it was that dry, and as for the noodles, super noodles tastes better, I did complain but they weren’t bothered, payed for something that was inedible �
