We went to our chocolate making workshop today and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff are nice and friendly. Alun is an exceptional host and really knows his stuff! The best part for me (apart from all the chocolates) was learning all about the history of cocoa from around cocoa belt and trying all the different varieties. You have no idea what 'real' chocolate is all about until you visit this place. The artisan hot chocolate was fantastic too and a real treat. If you want to step away from the lie of 'vegelate' that you have been fed and try what real flavoursome chocolate should taste like, then visit Cocoa Amore - and ask for Alun. PS Cocoa Amore, please message me if Hawaiian chocolate ever reaches our shores.

We came here for my sisters hen and we had an amazing time. Peter was a fantastic host who taught us about the variety of chocolates, how it is made and most importantly, he let us eat all the chcocolate. Making the chcocolate truffles was really fun and tasty experience . Would recommend to anyone that loves chocolate and a bit of fun.

We came here as a group of 5 on 9th August to do a chocolate workshop. It was such a memorable experience. The talk by Pete about chocolate was an eye opener and got to taste different chocolates on the cocoa belt. We had fun making truffles and using the moulds to make our very own box of chocolates with Dan, coming up with our own flavours using the flavourings provided. We also had the hot chocolate whilst we waited for our chocolates to set, which was the best we'd ever had. The chocolates were then brushed with gold dust and placed in a gift box. I would recommend this workshop and a visit to the shop to anyone, it is very good value for money considering what you come away with.

Visited the shop today with my husband, amazing service from the man behind the counter. The chocolates we chose were all fantastic such a good quality. The only gripe we have is that we haven’t found this place before very much looking forward to a return visit.

This shop sells an amazing range of chocolate from around the world as well their own specialty chocolates that are made in store. It is also the perfect place to stop and recharge your batteries when out shopping. They serve the most delicious hot chocolate and range of treats. It is quite unique in the city and I would highly recommend a visit.

My husband and I came for the workshop and it was wonderful. All the staff are so knowledgeable and a great laugh you get a lot for the money ( if you like good quality chocolates). I was passing the shop whilst some samples were being given out outside.. after trying the delicious chocolate, how could I not visit the shop? Whilst inside we talked about dairy free chocolate as my youngest son cannot have milk. I was told that I could have an Easter egg specially made with soya milk, so I ordered 1 large Easter egg and two smaller ones, which we picked up Wednesday (and of course bought lots of other yummy treats!). My son has already tried one of the smaller eggs .. (well we had to check it was ok?!?!) And it was delicious. Not at all like some of the other dairy free chocolate we've tried. Love the chocolate, love the knowledgable staff.. well done guys, we will definitely be back! Xx

I enjoyed an absolutely delicious hot chocolate that I would simply describe as "exquisite". It was the perfect temperature too, which I loved, because all too many establishments serve tepid drinks, which does my head in!! Oh and the drink was served with two delicious ginger covered chocolates which accompanied the drink perfectly. Finally, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is a lovely one. I recommend the place and I will be going back. Keep up the good work.

Hi, my sister and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Yasmin for such a fantastic afternoon making chocolate. We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute. Thank you to the staff who made us the amazing hot chocolate. We will definitely be coming back and recommending

Cocoa Amore produced the favours for our wedding on 31st March. We had four truffles in a clear plastic bag to which we added our own personalised tags. The truffles were a praline cup, Baileys, mint and a raspberry & white chocolate heart. Everyone commented on how beautiful they looked and how delicious they tasted; not sure which flavour was the clear winner, as they were all divine!

We had plenty of tasting sessions (well with all those flavours to choose from you just have to don’t you!), the staff at the shop in Leicester were always very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Will definitely be back for more!

Amazing chocolate making afternoon. Informative session and highly interactive. Knowledgable chocolatiers, friendly and polite. Great fun for a small or large group of friends or family wanting to do something together. Really tasty hot chocolate included in the price for the course.

After walking by for a while now today I walked into the most delicious smelling shop I don’t usually spend so much on chocolate but after today I will need to be careful not to spend every penny I have here deliciousness everywhere!
