What a beautiful shade of white...Betulia white.πŸ™‚

User

I tasted some of the criollo Colombian beans from Betulia last year and they were incredible - full of potential and so can't wait to taste the bars made with them.

User

More colourful cacao, this time from Colombia, look at the deliciously sweet wet cacao inside. When you snap your bar of fine Colombian, it is good to remember how it started off.

Beautiful fine criollo cacao.

I attended a very special book club today. Having paired chocolate to the book The Hub written by Joni Daniels Writer I met the author and presented the bars from Soma Chocolate, Zotter Chocolate UK, Duffy's Chocolate & MaranΓ‘. The themes being gods, trauma, love, dual realities and the struggle between good and evil. You have to read the book to get the links! But the quality and intensity of the chocolate were an equally good pairing to the book. Thank you Julie Limb and Samantha Coffee & Giftshop for the opportunity. #goodreads #booksandchocolate

Lovely surprise to bump into Ama from Lucocoa Chocolate at Duffy's Chocolate Studio today. More evidence that Cleethorpes is the place to be for fine chocolate lovers! Great to meet you Ama 😊🍫

Remember, Craft Chocolate is not just for Valentine's...you can share the love at any time.
All you need to know is how to taste it and what makes it fine. At a craft chocolate tasting evening, you will learn the art of sensorial tasting and discover some of the finest chocolate in the world.
I am still taking bookings for Thursday 28th February and Gift Vouchers are available for a gift that will last much longer than just 14th February.❀️🍫

Always good to remind ourselves how our fine chocolate starts out.

User

First printed magazine dedicated to craft chocolate. An exciting development. It’s on my shopping list. 😊🍫

User

Our fine vegan chocolate is certainly in fine company. Look who followed us in to the delightful Crackpot!

User

Crackpot was definitely a perfect venue for our Vegan chocolate tasting last night. Big thanks for hosting. Full house and some fabulous chocolate. All samples enjoyed but particular favourites turned out to be 70% Rio Dulce from Duffy Sheardown, Chocolate Hazelnut from Chocolate Tree, 55% Coconut milk from Forever Cacao & Hazelnut Cream, 70% Chililique from Solkiki. I wouldn't argue with any of those! Thank you all so much for coming and a big thank you to Carolyn Phillips for helping choose the bars and make the evening happen. Happy #veganuary2019

User

All set for vegan chocolate tasting tonight. Looking forward to seeing what will be their favourites 😊🍫

User

Don't miss out.

User

Looking forward to working with Spire Chocolates to deliver the next 6 months of tasting sessions The Brown Cow. It's our third year of the LOUTH Chocolate Tasters club and there is always something new to taste!

User

This is a Paul A Young recipe and I have used Chocolat Madagascar 70% dark Madagascar chocolate which delivers the fruity flavours of the chocolate in a delicious combination with gin and vermouth. A real winter evening indulgence. Although I suspect it will be equally as good outside in the summer! https://www.houseandgarden.co.uk/…/the- ultimate-chocolate-m…
