Coding Kids - Computer Clubs, offers fun and interactive coding classes for Year 4-6 students every Saturday from 2-3 pm.

Coding Kids - Computer Clubs Description

Coding Kids is a Coding Club for Year 4-6 students, based at Round Diamond School in Stevenage, with a passion for the promotion of coding to our students. Coding Kids is staffed by experienced and qualified professionals with decades of IT and teaching experience. Classes are deliberately kept small so that individual attention can be given to students.

Why should your child learn to code? Coding promotes computational thinking which is logical, organised thinking and problem solving skills which is necessary in every field of study and career. Coding skills are in very high demand, which can lead to a very highly paid career. Over the next 10 years it is estimated that there will be 1. 4 million jobs in computer sciences and only around 400, 000 graduates qualified to do them.

Course content includes an introduction to Computer Science, Programming Fundamentals using Scratch with fun projects in Game Development, Art & Animation and Music, writing actual code in Python, Mobile App Development for Android and iOS and also Introduction to Webpage Design . Learning occurs in a fun and interactive way, doing actual meaningful projects

Classes are offered on a Saturday, 2-3pm, term-time, with the possibility of additional classes based on demand.
