The perfect English bookshop, a truly independent shop in outlook and practise. Going into Cogito one always feels a thrill of expectation at finding some unknown book, a book which may change your life, or at least make you smile. The Cogito ladies are quite superb, they are free thinking and passionate about books, if i could visit only one bookshop, it would indeed be Cogito books in Hexham.
