Colchester Food Coop

We buy our groceries together as a cooperative group, to save money, support ethical producers and grow our local economy.

Colchester Food Coop started as a wholesale buying group over twelve years ago with deliveries being made to one member's garage.
For the past 2 years we've been hosted by the Waiting Room, and we have just moved to En-Form at 15, Church Walk (off Head St and behind the Arts Centre). We buy organic, and responsibly sourced healthy natural wholefoods and household products in bulk quantities from Suma wholesalers which is a workers co-operative. Members can order in bulk once a month or buy smaller quantitues at a 10% mark up in the shop.
We're currently in the process of developing the Coop shop to be an outlet for local, responsibly produced, food.
