Colchester Holiday Park

Good campsite. Good showers and amenities . was made very welcome. Only little downfall was rd noise but its a good trade off coz Colchester city is within 1.7 miles.

Lovely caravan site. Close to the A12 for access to all areas around. Always clean & tidy. Staff are very friendly & very helpful. Other campers always friendly. Park for the children to play in. Toilets & showers are cleaned regularly. Very welcoming all round

Camped here for 2 nights with children. Park was easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to set up early as it was quiet. Park was clean and well maintained, plenty of showers and separate cubicles with just sinks and separate cubicles with toilets, washing up area and shower/toilet blocks cleaned daily. Kids loved the play area, my only suggestion for the park would be to get something for the smaller children. Am pleased with the site and staff.
Only draw back (which is out of their control) is the A12. I'm not a light sleeper but could hear it at night, you can't see it but you can definately hear it.

I found this campsite to be well run, tidy and convenient for visiting Colchester. The shower blocks are also pretty good.

We spent a great day / night here recently, after buying our new campervan!!! We camped with friends and enjoyed drinks and BBQ in the sunshine on a lovely, quiet site (busy, with lots of other campers but quiet), with lots of open spaces around the pitches. The facilities were very good too - large shower cubicles and good toilet facilities too! There is a road nearby which you can hear now and again, but you soon forget about it. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Nice site. We'll kept, neat clean and tidy. Staff very helpful with lots of local knowledge about shops, places to eat etc. The only drawback is the noise intrusion from the A12. Not so bad on the far side of the park, but the grass EHU pitches are within metres of the road. I would probably come again, but I'd ask to be as far from the road as possible.

I would just like to say I have had the most amazing time staying here at Colchester Holiday Park, it's absolutely outstanding great family break.

It's lovely and clean on the park with great staff all round we had a wonderful experience and will be returning for many years to come.

I booked on the Friday for the next day and found the staff on line and over the phone to be very helpful and friendly.

We arrived early on the Saturday before the normal booking in time. I was worried as with some site that we would have to hang around for our pitch. But no we were welcomed by the reception staff and booked in with no fuss.
The site is very nice. Clean and well set out. The toiles and wash rooms were always clean. There is a small shop at the reception but it is small so don't expect everything.

We will be going back here not only to visit Colchester but the seaside is only 20miles away.

lovely site close to the A12 in Colcheter close to a country park in Lexden Springs . The facilities are excellent and plentiful. with toilets, shower blocks 20p per shower, washing up facilities, washing machines, motorhome fill up, and cleaning area, the pitches are very flat, hard standing or grass and spacious . We found the proprietors to be very friendly and helpful .We will certainly return again.
