Big weekend for our friends @struggleevents I couldn’t drive 108 miles through the Yorkshire dales let alone cycle it. Good luck to everyone taking part. On the evening of Wednesday the 22nd of May we will be hosting an event with the cycling journalists Chris Sidwells. Chris will be here to talk about his latest book “ Tom Simpson - Cycing legend #01 “ Tom was a pioneer of British cycling. Winner of the World road race championships and the first Brit to wear the yellow jersey before tragically dying during the ascent of Mont Ventoux in 1967 Tour de France. Chris is also Tom’s nephew so is best placed to tell his remarkable story. Personally signed books will be available to buy on the night. No tickets needed, just turn up from 7pm for a beer and listen to a chat about a true sporting legend.

Its the last bank holiday of the year, so we’ve checked with the neighbours and decided to have a little get together. Stuzzi are in charge of the BBQ, we have the craft beer sorted and Brio are bringing the ice cream. Come down on Sunday and say hello.
