Could you help in finding a reliable and easy to apply temperature controlled relay switch... Anyone? :-)

The air compressor to be recommended to get the CSE's water down to stable 3-4C! :-)

Another option to use the gas diffuser module of the CSE with a light, non-expensive and quiet aquarium pump... not advised for very hot climates but still a lot better than without any gas diffusing... :-)

This is a new model with the gas diffuser module... for anyone who wants to buy :-)

Testing a smaller, old style air compressor with the CSE's gas diffuser module... intended to buy a modern equivalent to replace Frank ;-)

Facts about how nicely 'green' the CSE is: the water flow rate is a bit more than one quarter of the normal rate... which means using about three quarter less water during the shower!

This is proper testing... which really has proved how efficient the CSE can be!

Another testing morning for the CSE... not quite fruitful, yet interesting!

Very important development step for the CSE...

CO2 to aid cooling of the Cold Shower Enhancer -- preliminary tests!

This is only a small step towards making the CSE even better...
On the left hand side, behind the inlet and outlet, there is a new gas connection which has got a gas valve inside of the CSE. The valve is optional but advisable for future proofing applications!
The end of the tubing inside the CSE has got a sort-of diffuser but we need to find a better solution than a DIY one so this one is not ready yet.
... Very soon, probably early next week we will be ready to test the gas connection with compressed carbon dioxide, at the moment only waiting for the pressure gauge valve to be delivered.

No picture this time as I would not like to post the same pictures and I have not made any new ones... Below is an direct quote from the CSE's item description we have just added. It is an important update:
There is a recent small addition to the new CSE model, which raises the price only slightly. It is a reinforced pvc tubing inside the CSE, a connector, and another piece of reinforced pvc hose outside. This is ready to use but not as efficient as it will be when we introdu...ce compressed carbon dioxide to cool and mix the ice with water. The CO2 addition will be a complete breakthrough but will require most certainly a solenoid valve to control the pressure... or something else, easier to use, which we are going to test very soon :-)
