We are pleased to announce that Al Ewing, current writer of the massive selling Marvel title Immortal Hulk, will be signing in store at Comic Connections on Saturday 1st December. What is amazing about this shop is that it has the atmosphere of a collector's comic book shop where enthusiasts can come to browse a well stocked shop and chat with other enthusiasts. Also the staff are extremely helpful and friendly :)

Went in today with my daughter... guy was brilliant. Knew exactly what he was talking about and was happy to chat about the thing we are all passionate about... Comics!

This is my favourit comic store to go too. Its absoloutley fantastic a great range of comics from old to new. Always a pleasure going in the staff couldnt be more helpful they will help you find whatever you are looking for and will do their best to track it down. I would recomend checking it out to any comic book fan

My son’s both love looking around the shop naming all the superheroes and villains finding it funny I don’t know them � the staff always talk to my boys with a smile and are always friendly and to top it off they did the egg challenge which made my boys love the place even more.

My family and I had a great trip out to see the shop especially as it's the only one in Oxford. Excellent service - friendly and honest. All five of us left with a graphic novel, which we have finished now so we need to return again :) Cheers x

Made a phone call there this morning to enquire about a few comics I have the lady was really helpful on the phone very friendly look forward to bringing my comics in soon thanks guys xx

I'm 45 and a huge Star Wars fan. I've also lived in Banbury all my life, so quite why I've never visited Comic Connections before, I do not know!! I'll be honest, I was not interested in seeing anything else apart from Star Wars merchandise but by crikey, I was in there for an hour and still didn't see all of it ! Everything from the soon-to-be released new film, to retro characters from the first ones ....reminded me of all the old stuff I used to collect, and why I liked Star Wars in the first place. Top marks Glyn - a cracking place, and I will most certainly be back soon !!

I love this store, it is a treasure trove of comics.

The staff advised me where to start my collection based on my genre likes and I keep adding to my subs list which is great for them but not for my wallet :)

I just wish more people would support the little independents more

Had a subscription with these guys for 14 years and counting! Huge range of back issues and the latest trades, a place that everyone can enjoy, highly recommend.

Fantastic store with more comics, back issues & graphic novels than you can shake a stick at. An owner that's been in the business years and knows his stuff, and a team of friendly, helpful staff. This shop is a hidden gem within Oxfordshire - go visit!

Dropped by yesterday merely for a browse as I'm so unfamiliar with Comics in General.. walked out hooked on 2 new series and a subscription!!

Super welcoming and very helpful for someone who knows naff all! I shall be returning very very soon! Staff are fantastic, I believe I was speaking with Sid, top gent!

But then I've been buying from these folks since pre-Calthorpe St! (1992/3?) Great times there and at George St and for the last 18 years, Parsons St is a regular stop any time I'm in Banbury. Always a good chat and interesting stuff available. Cracking shop.

Absolutely fantastic shop. Sid said hello to me and my misses as soon as we got in the shop and built a great connection straight away. Asked what i collected and was looking to collect and gave me some insite and just great conversation all round. He even got my misses involved amd ended up finding somethimg for her as her first ever comic/novel. Glyn is fantastic as well both guys just great people to talk to and both amazingly helpful and full of knowledge. I ended up walking away starting my lobo collection off right 2 of the which Glyn got out for me being signed by Alan Grant and for both the price couldnt of been better(i couldnt of said yes any faster). And to top it off something to put in my deadpool collection as well and has my details to let me know when they find more issues for me and my misses. If people are looking for a fantastic comic book shop they really should consider at getting in touch with these guys.

A brilliant shop. The staff are passionate and genuinely enthusiastic about comics. The advise you get will always first rate as the gang at Comic Connections are well read and knowledgeable when it comes to comics. They carry a thorough stock selection of comics, graphic novels, action figures and a plethora of other merchandise. So there'll always be something to make you open your wallet.



At a time where online retail is king it's great to find an independent shop like Comic Connections.

Was promised some figures when they came in but never got a message only to find them in the shop and they'd been there for ages.
