User

Very friendly, helpful staff always go that extra bit for us. Went for my daughter's birthday lunch on Tuesday 3rd April, as usual food was amazing and staff were brill. Thank you to Emma and her team for everything. See you all soon x

User

The Sunday lunch is exceptional quality and the caramel apple pie just melts in your mouth. Staff are always very pleasant. I get that everyone wants service in minutes but the place is popular and busy. Be a little patient it is worth while with the quality of food. Oh always book to avoid disappointment, we got caught out last weekend and didn't get a table.

User

Thankyou for our wonderful halloween breakfast this morning. Children and adults both enjoyed all the crafts. The man who hosted was really good with the kids and made sure we made the most of the activities. The breakfast was yummy with lots of continental and full English items to choose from.will there be a Christmas one? Hope so x

User

I love this place. I've never had a bad meal there. It feels brand new, the decor is stunning, especially now they've decorated it all up for Christmas. The staff are so friendly, particularly the lovely lady who served us. The food is gorgeous, I had the double steak stack burger 🖒

User

Always lovely food and amazing service. Would highly recommend also child friendly x

We've used Colliers Table Table for around 4 years. We used to go for their Sunday Carvery which mother in law liked as she was able to have a childs one which was enough for her. I liked the fact that when she was in a wheelchair we asked and was always given a quiet spot out of the way. We now use it mostly at lunchtimes or late afternoons on our way back from holidays. Mostly we book ahead especially at lunchtimes and always have a good meal and never found the staff unfriendly. There are some reviews that I find hard to believe as we've never had a problem in those 4 years.

User

Went for family party ov 30 wouldn’t go again as didn’t receive my meal they gave me a free pudding but had to ask as wasn’t offered anything in compensation lol my husband and kids enjoyed there meal

User

My husband and I went last Saturday. My husband didn't want to go as he had a previous bad meal but I persuaded him to give it another try. The food was OK, I didn't get my mushrooms with my main, my steak was definitely not medium but more over well done. When I asked waitress for my mushrooms she gave me a funny look, didn't apologise for the error and then just put them on table and walked off. I didnt realise how tricky cooking a jacket potato could be! We used the 40% voucher and it was still more expensive than our usual pub and the food was nowhere near as nice. One positive was the bar staff, really nice guy but unfortunately this wasn't enough to make us want to return

User

Went for a family meal yesterday .

Service was appalling.

Waited 30 minutes for a drink .

A young man named Mitchell was looking after us who was rushed off his feet .

People to the left of our table kept calling him to their table also people behind us kept calling him to them .

Hence we left without having dessert even tho they tried to charge us .

It will be a long time before I go again

If ever

User

Long wait, order not correct to what was described on menu & was not once asked if everything was ok! In fact staff hardly seen. Last visit was April when we had a rude waitress, decided to give it another try, not going to bother again. Food that did come was ok tho’

User

Traveled all the way from the north east to visit my dad who is working at McDonald’s over the road from this pub so we decided to get a Sunday cavery it was appalling the staff ignored us once they took our order she walked off and I had to ask were our drinks were 20 minuets later. If I go to visit my dad again I will NOT be paying this pub a visit

User

My family and I went for Boxing Day lunch today, to say the food was awful is an understatement. My children's food was bought out first which left them waiting whilst the adults ate...not great having children waiting too long when only 2 and 6!! The starter was ok not much flavor to it, the turkey dinner was disgusting, the turkey was dry, the roast potatoes well what can I say never in a million years had they been roasted, there was a splash of gravy which was very watery and not much of variety of veg. The pudding I had which was the profiteroles with ice cream, I have never seen profiteroles like them, clearly they had been frozen and just about defrosted, they where coated in a chocolate that was awful (screaming cheap chocolate) my partner had the Christmas pudding, the only good thing about it was the custard. The service was shabby to say the least, it seemed like she was new and was unsure of what was going on. Two of the items on the menu where unavailable, one of which my partner wanted. We have been to The Colliers before, but will never ever go back. We did complain but the waitress just said "sorry about that". Terrible place, such a shame cause it used to be nice.

User

Manger was very rude stating we could sit there all morning if we wanted but breakfast finished at 10.30, then preceded to talk about us to other customers very loudly for turning up five minutes before breakfast finished. Poor attitude, but the breakfast itself was good.

User

I booked a table at Rugeley it was my daughters birthday there was five of us we ordered the starter then the carvery it took a long time for the starter to come then when we went up for our meal there wasn't any meat left only Turkey the meal was cold I think the waiter should have told us that the carvery was nearly finished and we could have ordered from the menu I did tell the waiter that our meal was cold he only offered us a pudding but we was so disappointed we didn't stay I don't think we will be eating hear again

User

Good food nice place however very poor service girls were so in a rush wile i was in mid sentence asking about starters then deserts the girls clearly werent listening, turned around and walked off. I was even told i didnt order a starter from a different girl. Nightmare. No tip tonight

User

Awful !!! Slow service, waited 20 mins for our drinks then had to ask to order our food as no one came. long wait even though they weren't busy. Kids portions were ridiculously small, had no Parmesan for the spag Bol so bought a thimble of grated cheese to share between 3 people .... then charged us 60p for it. Forgot the kids veggie sticks, had to ask for them. Asked 2 different people for sauce before got any!! Was given fries instead if chips, didn't have the time or patience to ask for pudding!! Over priced, inexperienced staff !!!!
