About Colne Gala

Colne Gala is a FREE to enter family fun day, which takes place annually and includes a street procession, fairground, staged events, charity stalls and childrens attractions.

Colne Gala Description

The aim of the gala committee (a voluntary group) is to continue to promote this event for the people of Colne and surrounding areas, whilst raising funds for charity.

There is also a Gala Queen and Princess competition, with the winners invited to tour other local gala's in the promotion of Colne.

The next Gala will take place on 16th June 2018, which will be the 59th anniversary.

All funds are raised through sponsorship, donations and fundraising events with the assistance of local business's essential to the continuation of this traditional local event.

As one of our core values is to support local charities, we presented today the 2019 Colne Gala donation to the NW Blood Bikes after £500 was raised on Gala day through the street collection and stalls. Colnes got talent, 2nd June at 3pm union hotel Colne. Sing, dance, anything you want. 5 from here will appear on the gala stage then the winner will go on to the municipal hall in December
