Colne Valley is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2017 by Thelma Walker of the Labour Party. The seat has been won by three different parties' candidates by a marginal majority since the 1992 general election, the last occasion when the winning majority exceeded 10% of the votes cast. It was a bellwether constituency from the 1987 general election to the 2017 general election, which saw Labour's Thelma Walker narrowly gain the seat from the Conservatives while the latter remained the largest party in Parliament.
