Pancake Day races with children from Little Pickles Nursery. A Flipping good fun was had by all.

Today we welcomed residents from Field Lodge Care Home to join us for lunch followed by an art class. It was great to meet new friends and we look forward to meeting up again in the near future.

We have had some furry visitors to the home this week to celebrate 'Love your pet day' which included pygmy goats, dogs, guinea pig and Luna the rabbit. More photos to follow.

Our residents were treated to a visit by the children from Little Pickles Nursery today. The children and residents enjoyed decorating some hearts for Valentines Day.

Some of our residents enjoying an afternoon of Bowling with some very impressive scores. Top of the leaderboard was Elsie with a score of 105 at Namco Funscape

It's Workout Wednesday today with Frederick Douglas Performing Arts Academy

On the 17th of January children from Richard de Clare, Halstead came to see the residents for the first session of the ‘Archie Project’.
The Archie Project is an intergenerational dementia awareness project that links local primary schools with care homes. The children had lots of fun and learned new things about our residents and what they did in their lives.

Happy Birthday to Joan who is celebrating her 90th Birthday today. Many happy returns Joan, enjoy your special day xx

Snow White the Pantomime came to Colne View this afternoon (oh yes it did) to entertain our residents, who thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you Frederick Douglas Performing Arts Academy .

A Merry Christmas and a big thank you to our volunteer gardeners who turn out tirelessly in all weathers to make the garden a beautiful setting for our residents to enjoy. Well done to you all.
