Having said “that” renowned dress from Zara looked like a nightdress, I met my lovely niece Jessica for lunch at the weekend and she was wearing it! Have to say, she looked lovely in it 💕 Like any clothing though still think it’s not for everyone and on me it would definitely look like a nightie 😆

Sharing this post because it’s so true. I’ve had many clients say to me that they have a friend who looks fabulous wearing something, but when they try it on it looks all wrong. Sometimes it’s the colour that doesn’t work for them, but it can also be that it’s simply the wrong style for their proportions and body shape. Or they may feel uncomfortable wearing it as it doesn’t suit their Style Personality, because we all have one!

With her rich deep colouring, she is at her most beautiful when wearing deeper shades mixed or in contrast (never paler shades on their own - her look is too strong for this). Even Meghan would look washed out and jaded in shades too light for her

Some people think shades of purple are difficult to wear. Not so for this beautiful bird and actually true Purple is a universal colour which means it’s flattering on all of us, whatever our personal colouring is 🌈

Take your cue from Mother Nature as she rarely gets it wrong. A background of your best green looks stunning when teamed with a sprinkling of pink, mauve or geranium. Choose your best pinky/red accent colour and boom, you have a WOW outfit. Bold colours can be difficult to pull off, not only do you have to consider the tone, but clarity and depth too. Fed up with having a wardrobe full of clothes but “nothing to wear”? I love this! It definitely reminds me of how my wardrobe used to be before having my own colours and style done. What a brilliant idea! We don’t have a lot of wardrobe space and folding T-shirts and other tops and putting them in drawers not only creases them, but often I forget they’re there. So I’m going to order at least a couple of these and will keep you posted 😊

I love these hats, they’re so feminine and stylish. It’s at times like this that I really wish I was a “hat person”, maybe I’ll go ahead and order one anyway 😊

Today is National ' Don't Step on a Bee Day', which is an important reminder that the fate of the common bee lies in the balance – with bee numbers in some countries having halved in the last decade with no apparent cause, it’s vital that we take care to maintain bee populations, pollination and honey production.
Images such as this, also remind us of how wonderful nature is and how beautiful the world around us looks in its natural state.
We certainly don't need to 'Colour ...Nature Beautiful', it does it all by itself!
