We have shared lots of wonderful stories today as children brought in their favourite books and cuddly toys for world book day. We especially enjoyed hearing all about the memories behind them.

As our bird theme came to an end last week it saw the children making bird cakes to feed the birds in their own garden and some brilliant art work created using feathers and paint. Although the children were particularly proud of these colourful birds constructed from play dough and feathers.
This week we look forward to celebrating Chinese New Year.
Apologies for the late post

In conjunction with the RSPB big garden bird watch 2019 this term has seen the children discovering birds. So far we have seen some fantastic fine motor skill and counting as the birds were fed, excellent turn taking and comparison whilst playing bird pairs and some brilliant bird master pieces as well as so amazing writing. The theme will continue for this week

As we come up to Christmas and we reflect on the past 16 months since taking over the preschool we would like to say a huge thank you to parents for past and present for your continued support and encouragement. As a way of saying thank you for your loyalty we are offering afternoon sessions at a discounted price of £3.00 per hour when booked in addition to their current hours when booked before 15 February 2019. Can we please request all children have appropriate clothing and footwear every time they attend preschool as we have some exciting outdoor learning opportunities planned this term

This week the children used their observational skills to create amazing drawings of the sunflowers picked from their own garden.

Some excellent team work and creative critical thinking going on at preschool with week. Creating some wonderful houses for the little pigs 🐷

Last week we continued our three little pig thene and created these fantastic little pig cupcakes yummy! Sorry for the late post.
