Members of Colston Lodge had a fantastic meal yesterday to celebrate the feast of St John the Baptist. Put on by the management of an acient meeting place for Bristol Masons, The Rummer. It included such 18th century delicacies as coffee rubbed roast beef, salmon pie and a whole suckling pig. Brilliant afternoon and evening. Oh, and opening champagne with swords, as you do...
