Took the grandchildren here and really enjoyed it the walk is steep but the setting is lovely and looking out for dinosaurs in the trees is fun . The train ride is brilliant and at £1 is good value for money . The sea lion show is amazing too and the children loved having their photo taken kissing the sea lion and once again I felt it was good value . The indoor soft play was great and all the staff were really helpful and friendly the young man driving the train was very nice and was waving to all the children in the park the girls taking the photos were lovely too as was the staff in the restaurant and the gentleman at the entrance all in all a lovely day and we will definitely be going back

This place is ideal for families with children ages 3-12 . Robotic dinosaurs make it very interesting. Educasional Sea lion shows adds up to pleasant time. Short mini train ride is one of the highlights kids love . Indoor play area is very handy when it rains. You can all find out what's and whats not available from their website. What I like to tell you is ; make sure you bring along nice picnic lunch with you including your flask and kids drinks , may safe you a fortune. There are nice picnic areas where you can comfortably sit and enjoy your lunch. I gave 4 star (actually deserves a 5 ) reason being entrance fee could a little bit inexpensive.

This was a good day out. The children enjoyed seeing a variety of animals, especially the sea lion show! The zoo keeper talks were very interesting and informative. Good value day out. You should note that with those with pushchairs and who have difficulty walking, the park is quite steep in places and so you may have difficulty getting to some of the enclosures.

Went here with my family, wildlife and shows were fun to see but you had to be on a fairly strict timetable and you can't see it all in one day as the timetable conflicts.

Quite a few of the dinosaurs weren't working when we went, some of the vegetation was also overgrowing into the path. Japanese garden was quite a waste.

If you have any trouble with walking or getting around then the hills in this park will be killer. It's constantly up and down even from the car park.

Seal show was a highlight, very well trained.

Food was okay at the restaurant, they were missing quite a few items when we went and the wooden cutlery is ridiculous and easily broken.

Overall good day out and kids would have fun. Unlikely to go again.

The Park has a lot of animals that you can get really close to even in their enclosures. The only downside is the landscape the park is built on. It is very hilly with some very steep parts including the car park. Although small children can come and see lots, be prepared for a lot of heavy going with a pushchair. Definitely a good calorie burning workout.

Me and my girlfriend visited this place while on holiday nearby.
I was sceptical at first after looking at the reviews as some were very negative but it was a great place.
Firstly the car park is very steep and the rest of the park is pretty steep too, most of it is unsuitable for wheelchairs and it can get quite tiring.
The car park was a decent size and after descending the hill to the park we were surprised to find how good it was, the better half especially liked the raccoons and the sea lion show where you can pose while the sea lion kisses the glass and have a professional style photo so it looks like you're kissing it.
All of the animals looked happy where they were and when we left we both agreed it was a great day out.
I didn't use the cafe so can't comment but we both used the toilets and they were a little dated/worn but clean and working properly.

If I could give more stars I would. My partner, myself and our two boys (ages nearly 4 and nearly 2) had an amazing day out. If you haven't been go !!! Best day out we've had :) staff are lovely. Very good place.
