Burn’s Night, also known as Burn’s Supper, is a holiday celebrated in Scotland on January 25th in honour of the poet Robert Burns.
The Quarterdeck Bistro will be celebrating the life of Burns over the weekend of the 25th - 27th January 2019 with a special menu full of Scottish dishes and flavours. This is in addition to the Quarterdeck bistro menu.
This special menu will be available for lunch and Dinner Friday through to Sunday evening.

There are road closures in Yelland between 9am and 3pm that mean cars can only drive into Instow from the Bideford direction.
For anyone driving from Barnstaple or that side of Instow, we suggest you use the link road and past Tapeley into Instow. So don’t worry you can still reach the 🏨
Outside of these hours you can enter Instow from both directions 🚙

We had our wedding reception here 27 Year’s ago went back for a meal 25 Year’s later, and have been many times during those years for various celebrations, the second best location in North Devon �, as I now live at the Best! Instow.... a beautiful place.

We are enjoying a wonderfully restful break here to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff cannot do enough to help us and make us feel valued. The food is outstanding, both breakfast and the restaurant menu. Definitely recommend to anybody and hope to return soon ☺ Huge thank you to all the staff!

Truly lovely..never stayed but the food and service has always been of a high standard a proper Hotel, have celebrated Birthdays, anniversary, had parents in law 60th Anniversary all in the restaurant, a few lunch time snacks in the bar and last night visit was super with our two sons and their lovely ladies

The food was wonderful with excellent service. My son ask for hot chocolate after his meal and he said it was the best he has ever tasted..

Super place....we are lucky enough to be regulars..the Woolaway family run it like a well-oiled machine. It is kept beautifully, the food is great and there is always a warm welcome. It has an unrivalled position enabling diners to overlook the beach..cannot be bettered!

On holiday in Putsborough but braved the recent 'detour' due to the Staunton Road closure - well worth it for yet another superb dinner last night � never fails to impress - will be back again between Christmas and New Year �

I only stayed for one night but was made very welcome. The staff were wonderful as was the breakfast. The room was spotless and comfortable with plenty of good quality tea and milk. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

I loved this place... I LOVE Instow anyway. They wanted to do all they could to make sure you were happy!? The food was delicious and I couldn't stop being complimentary! Will definitely recommend & hope to return again one day soon....

Amazing fresh food. Great atmosphere, nice size rooms, perfect to get out of the buzz and have some snug. And a lovely walk on the beach only 5 steps away from hotel is a must.

We went on the first sunny day in ages - how lucky, the view is stunning. We were celebrating my sister's 50th birthday & she thoroughly enjoyed herself - it was what my Mum called a 'Memory Day'.
