Community Local

We are an Aeroponic Community Development Company, with big ideas about restoring connectivity and infrastructure within the local community. We feel that the sense of community has been eroded and love thy neighbour has continued to stand neglected. With new technology and the rise of global issues, now is the time for the people's power to forge their communities' destiny. Localism is the founding pillar of Community Local and embodies empowerment of a community to produce a better quality of life for now and generations to come. We are not reinventing the wheel but going back to basics when the community was at the heart of society. We believe that the school has a central part to play in bringing the community together. We want to build a student supported sustainable aeroponic network of growing farms within the Luton school network. The urban growing farms will provide Luton High schools with an extra income stream by selling all produce grown via a farmers market and commercial wholesalers. We intend on developing an educational curriculum focusing on new green technology, healthy lifestyle and business awareness and skill development. Alongside that we will look at the financial and economic impact of this project within the wider Community.
