Another happy returning customer purchases a PowerPack 1208 (PP1208) escrap baler after 16 years.
This specialist waste recycler takes in old TV/CRT/TFT monitors and escrap and produces large mill size bales. These bales will be sent to produce plastic granules/flakes which will be purchased for use within manufacturing.
The company previously had a Strautmann PP1208 that was purchased around 2002 which has lasted them all these years under intense daily use. This is typical ...of the Strautmann brand with machines built to last in excess of 15 years, representing true value for money.
The nature of the material they bale requires a machine that is reinforced and this particular model has a 70 ton press force, producing bales of up to 550kg making lighter work of their plastics.

Newly Supplied MK1100 (Multi) Three Chamber Baler to a Garden Centre chain in the South-East.
This customer has partnered with Compact and Bale in excess of 8 years and has previously had refurbished vertical balers of a variety of sizes for their cardboard, polythene films and PP/PS plant pots and trays.
Due to their companies environmental aspirations they were looking to improve their recycling operation in a number of key areas. These include reducing the number of coll...ections carried out (lowering attributed emissions), increasing rebate values (and thus monies reinvested back in to their strategy) and halving the power requirements of their existing balers (through the use of a single machine that requires 50% less power compared to older models/our competitors single pump systems).
They can now bale their cardboard, polythene and PP/PS trays in one tidy small area, requiring one set of power, with bale weights of up to 300kg, maximising revenue and minimising impact.
Compact and Bale send the cardboard to be used locally at a mill and the plastics will be used in manufacturing.
