My Mum got herself an Ipad about a year ago and recently mentioned how it was going very slow these days! Well it's not that old I told her so I looked through her Apps and deleted a few, no change. Then I asked when she had last switched it fully off? every day, was the answer. What all the way off?? Turns out the ipad hadn't ever been fully turned off from coming out of the box!! Switching it off all the way allows essential updates to be performed and once turned back on was back up to full speed. Just hold down your standby button for 3-5 seconds and a message should pop up asking if you want to switch your tablet off. Once off hold down the same button for 5-10 seconds and the start screen should show. simple.

Did you know Microsoft have a totally free version of Microsoft Office with Word and Excel? All you need to do is logon at office.live.com with your Microsoft ID or register as a new user. Microsoft has also announced that it will be offering the Mobile App version free for use on Ipad, Iphone and Android phones and tablets too.

Photo Printing tips.
* Make sure you have selected the correct paper type and size you will be printing on in the print menu. * Be aware that your monitor may not show the exact colours that will be printed as most likely it is not calibrated. * Ensure the paper is put in the printer correctly and the guides are against the side of the page.... * If editing your image make sure you edit a copy not the original. * Check the printers properties page (when you select print) to make sure it is set to best quality.
