Composerwave

About Composerwave

Composerwave is redefining the live performance arts industry via a few modernised methods. Composerwave addresses the issue of public performances becoming technically illegal (when they are carried out without any intent to pay the rights holders) by requiring pre-payment. It features a code system via which one can easily tell if the performance is legal. Composerwave confronts the problem of copying music by removing the fee for obtaining the scores – this enables buyers to peruse and try out the score in full before making any payment. Previous systems saw Musical Directors, who are typically given very limited budgets with which to purchase new scores, previewing no more than one page of a rare score or searching for a colleague with the printed copy. Students, enthusiasts or soloists had to purchase single copies which is time consuming, sometimes impossible (when bulk buys are required) and ultimately a waste when a piece turns out to be unuseable. Copies soon deteriorate and expensive replacements must be sought – if they can. Also, whilst musicians continue to rely on printing publishers, they can never truly move into a paper-free profession. See our term and conditions for a more detailed description of exactly how Composerwave operates.
