Comptoir Libanais

We/I had a wonderful experience in Comptoir Libanais- the lovely Mezze to share was everything and more than we expected- freshly made Tabbouleh, yummy hoummous pita/flat bread. We also had some additions Meze plates - all in all gorgeous experience- coming back in May with my Danish gang of friends.

We went to Comptoir Libanais at about 2.30pm and we were seated immediately. The service was charming and the food was to die for. We had a mezze platter for two and some extra sides. Everything was soooo delicious! The mint and rose tea was exquisite and complemented the meal perfectly. Can't wait to go again and try some other dishes, as the food on our fellow diners' tables looked amazing. Will recommend this brilliant place to all of my friends. Thank you! :)

We loved it here! A group of us visited the Southgate restaurant on a busy Saturday lunchtime and had booked ahead, ordering a selection of delights from across the menu (helpfully guided by the knowledgeable manager!) All of us were amazed at the range of food, colours and flavors. The staff went out if their way to make sure my sister had a great birthday meal and we just wanted to say thank you for making our ‘middle eastern’ day out a great success!

Twice in two days and great fresh food with a lovely personal service on both occasions. What a great place!

Relaxing atmosphere; very welcoming and attentive staff in a non-obtrusive way. Food always great- fresh ingredients. Inexpensive. Cocktails amazing! Highly recommended!

Nice bright decor, very helpful staff and wonderful food. We had dinner last night and went back for breakfast this morning. One of the highlights of our weekend. Highly recommend.

Myself and my friends wanted to extended our thanks to the wonderful waiter that we had at our table for lunch today. We did not catch his name but he was young, tall and had short hair. He was so helpful and accommodating, explaining the menu to us and checking we were ok. With a table of four babies and three breast-feeding mummies, he was not phased at all and was well-mannered and kind at all times, so refreshing to see. Me and my friend joked that if our baby boys grew up to be as polite as that young man we would be very proud! The food was fresh and delicious and was cooked and served quickly. We shall return to try all the yummy bits of the menu we didn’t get a chance to today!

Love this place! Food is amazing, staff are so friendly and helpful (especially the tall, dark haired bespectacled gentleman) and definitely the best eatery in Bath

Great new restaurant for Bath, great ethnic Lebanese food, good assortment of Messe paired with excellent Lebanese wine, polite friendly staff providing good efficient service definitely worth a visit, the food is wholesome and freshly prepared, priced affordable.

Can't fault the place. House white good, spotlessly clean, light and airy, food reasonably priced and what it should be.

AMAZING! We had the feast and it was enough for 4 even though it said 2.

We only popped in for a drink as cafe Nero was jam packed at the time, we had rose tea with a selection of baklava, an absolute bargain at only £3.95 especially in bath, will definitely be making it a regular stop on future shopping trips to bath.

Got Lebanese roots and food was good enough. I have to be honest not as good as my mother's cooking but still good enough for me ���

Nice food, really friendly service from the 1st waiter but he finished his shift and the second waiter was quite rude and standoffish. I didn't like having to call him over for assistance... he definitely didn't like it �
