Concrete Circus

Milton Keynes based circus performance and outreach training. Do you need performers for your event, circus training at your school or team building event?

Concrete Circus is a youth circus that tries to teach as many circus skills as possible. Generally these consist of hand-eye skills such as juggling, diabolo, devil sticks and spinning plates. Balance skills such as unicycle, stilt walking, tightrope and walking globe and aerial skills such as trapeze, Lyra (aerial hoop) and silks. We also teach some other skills e. g. acrobalance, cyr wheel, hula hoop, poi and the occasional esoteric skill e. g. wild west skills.

Not only do we teach but we also get the students to perform. We have two major shows each year. The one in March /April is for family and friends and the one in November is part of Milton Keynes Juggling Convention. There are also opportunities at local events e. g. school fetes, Stony lights, Walking with Giants parade etc.

The older kids get the opportunity to attend events with other youth circus groups and have been to events in London, Wookey Hole and Edinburgh. In 2015 some of them are likely to be going to Cornwall.
