First two years were okay. The Games Technology course certainly covered some of the topics within games design, but not nearly enough. It was; 3D modelling and Unreal 4 for the most part, neither of which I had an interest in. There was some games design and narrative writing, but it was barely touched upon.

My final year was abysmal, there were problems with the Animation for Games straight from the start, that were never fully resolved with the tutors giving a "meh, we'll deal with it" response. The dissertation was so unfairly overweight and obtuse that all other modules suffered because of the sheer amount of work that needed to be put into it with almost no help.

I paid £9,000 for my final year and maybe got 2 lessons where I got taught something, that's over a period from October - June.

As for post-graduate opportunities, Confetti pride themselves on plugging their graduates. No. They. Don't. They didn't even attend the graduation ceremony, which is odd because we were the first lot of graduates from Nottingham Trent for them.

They definitely seemed to like the year above us, too much, even helping them much after they should have really, and they still do 2 years after graduation. With us, nothing. Barely any support and a definite "favourites" vibe for the year above us.

I wasted a year there. It's sad really because it seemed promising at first. But no. They've only had one room with good computers and I didn't even get a chance to use it even though they have made promises otherwise. The course was boring and so were the most of teachers there. It seemed like no one cared. Worst of all, they've managed to lose students work resulting in them failing. I only hope they've improved now due to their 9 million investment. I'm well informed so I'll keep you posted wether or not they've improved.

I spent several years at Confetti and it is without doubt, the most extraordinary organisation I have had the pleasure of being part of. In a league of its own as far as colleges are concerned, as analysis of the positive reviews can show you.

The negative reviews are unfortunate but not from anyone who's actually been there. If you're really interested, go to one of their many open days, speak to staff and students, and make your own mind up.

Horrible, horrible place. I would not recommend at all. Waste of money.

Despite all of their bold claims, dealing with them is like dealing with a bunch of disorganised teenage stoners.

This happened a while ago but thinking back to it, this was a truly awful experience.

Late last year when I was about to begin my apprenticeship with Confetti as a Digital Media Apprentice I was obviously looking forward to it as I had only heard good things about the college. Well, one day before I was supposed start my course I was curious why they hadn't contacted me at all since my last meeting with them about a month ago, I didn't even know what time to show up. SoI, gave them a ring.

They picked up only to inform me that the course had been cancelled, FOUR DAYS PRIOR, less than a week before I was supposed to start. So, me at this point, literally fearing for my job, asked what was next, to which they responded with a half-a*sed attempt at damage control by trying to put me on a social media course that had nothing to do with creative media (with another college no less).

After me and the rest of the apprentices who got dropped like a sack of academic potatoes, unanimously agreed that this was irrelevant to our apprenticeships, this obviously didn't go through.

Eventually it was up to MY EMPLOYER to source a new college for both me and the REST THE APPRENTICES, something you would've thought Confetti's outstanding admin team would've sorted out.

My job, and what looks to be now my future career could have been non-existant due to Confetti's terrible, terrible handling of this apprenticeship scheme.

No doubt the college has its good qualities, just know if you're looking to begin an apprenticeship with these guys, they do not prioritise you as an apprentice.
