So whether you have a clear vision of your future life, or just feel that things could be better, Confidence Coaching has benefits for you. Sessions are available face to face, by Skype or telephone.

As your coach I would:

Empower you to make choices and changes in your life to build confidence from the inside out
Support you, with tools and skills, to improve your self-esteem and give you the confidence to achieve those changes
Motivate you to ensure you have the resilience to complete your journey
Challenge any limiting beliefs which are holding you back and enable you to replace them with positive beliefs
Not provide answers or advice, but use my coaching experience along with techniques and exercises to bring out your own ideas and knowledge
As you identify your goals and work towards them you will feel a sense of passion and purpose and a growing self-esteem and confidence. This process involves changing your thinking and behaviours, which can be daunting and uncomfortable at times, however it is also exciting, inspiring and great fun!

I look forward to sharing a journey of discovery with you.

3 Things You Need To Know About Resilience Today
The oak fought the wind and was broken, the willow bent when it must and survived Robert Jordan
... Resilience is defined as the capacity to recover from difficulties. Although it's referred to as 'bouncing back' often it feels more like a battle than a simple bounce.
You might think that resilience is something you are born with, a personality trait, but it's actually something you can learn and build over time.
According to the research of leading psychologist, Susan Kobasa, three elements are essential to resilience. These are:
Challenge– Resilient people see difficulty as a challenge rather than something that overwhelms them and stops them from taking action. They use problems as opportunities to develop and learn instead of taking them as a negative reflection of their self-worth or confidence. Commitment– Committing to their goals in life and work, means that resilient people can accept that challenges are part of their journey. By keeping their focus on the endpoint they remain motivated to carry on towards their purpose. Personal Control – Resilient people, put their time and effort into issues they have control or influence over. As they can have an impact on these problems, they remain confident, in contrast to worrying about uncontrollable situations which would leave them feeling powerless.
If you want to build your resilience then here are a few questions to ask yourself:
1. When have you had to deal with difficult events in your life and work? 2. How did you manage it and what did you learn? 3. What are your strengths and how could you have used them to bounce back? 4. What three actions could you commit to regularly doing, that will support your physical and emotional wellbeing?
We all face tough times in life and at work, learning how to bounce back as well as practising self-care can mean you are better prepared for when they happen.
if you are struggling with one of those times, do book a free call with me and I'll give you a plan to move forward. You can book your call at www.speakwithjo.com

“To be passive is to let others decide for you. To be aggressive is to decide for others. To be assertive is to decide for yourself. And to trust that there is enough, that you are enough.” ― Edith Eva Eger I love this quote and here is a story of my client who learnt how to be ASSERTIVE: If you have ever had a member of your team dismiss your authority and undermine your expertise, then you will know how Claire felt when she came to see me.
