Connex Community Support provides vital support to the area's most vulnerable people, through a range of community services.
Our mission is to deliver essential support services to enable people to live safer, happier and more fulfilled lives.

Connex Community Support (formerly Buxton Volunteer Centre and Volunteer Centre Derbyshire Dales) was born in 1984 out of a community need to provide support to some of the area’s most vulnerable residents, and we have grown and expanded over the years to play an invaluable role in the local communities in our area.

We are still committed to providing support to those communities, through a range of services. We work with individuals, other non-profit organisations and charities, statutory bodies and local and national companies to deliver those essential services. Whether it is home care or transport for older people, activities for disabled children and their families, providing a trusted home maintenance service or helping volunteers to find their ideal role, we are there to help.
