Many local organisations are working together on this exciting new project and we’re asking for support and help in establishing this wonderful centre.

This centre planned is a place that everyone will be able to enjoy and join in all the activities
made available;
from experiencing Arts, Crafts and the Performing Arts to getting involved with
Community Radio or maybe get involved with a Community Garden or Cookery Lessons.
You might Simply want to have a place to meet and chat or use the Gaming Room and Internet
Café facilities planned.

Hi everyone, I'm a choreographer doing some work locally responding to the story of the passengers who sailed on the Mayflower from England to America in 1620, a brave and determined group, many of whom came from Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. Our performances and workshops are free, so I wanted to invite you all to come along and see what the project is about -
You are all warmly invited to our free performa...nces of 'The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400', taking place on the 25th May at Gainsborough Old Hall (particularly the 5.30pm community performance (see below)):

In particular, I wanted to invite you to a special community performance taking place at 5.30pm, when members of the local community are welcome to access the Old Hall for free and also to see the performance for free. In The Imagination Museum: Mayflower 400, 3 eccentric tour guides will lead you on a journey through history, using movement, text and music to explore what it was really like for many of the passengers from this area who travelled from England to America aboard the Mayflower in 1620.
Free performances (40 minutes) will be repeated throughout the day. PLUS: Join us for a free tea/coffee and a chat and dance/craft activities for children after all our daytime performances.
You are welcome to book as many places as you wish for the 5.30pm performance up to our capacity, so do spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you there!
