Looks like the second brood of swallows in the entrance to our workshop is about to depart-

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that the service 38 will come to an end on the 29th September. We took this service on when the previous operator couldn’t sustain it as their costs are higher than ours. We give it a good go and have had good feedback from regular customers. Unfortunately though our insurance and fuel costs have risen, and another operator has started a similar service which has creamed some customers off ours. Couple all this to the impending Euro6 zone in 2020 and we can’t afford to replace the buses we have. Any queries about a replacement service should be directed to Metro Thank you for your custom

Last Sunday we had another drivers CPC training course presented by Alec at Minimise Your Risk focussing on Drivers walk around checks and School Bus Operation. There’s another this weekend to ensure our drivers are fully up to date with all legislative requirements

Another First time MOT pass at our Local ATF. The longest serving member of our fleet at 9 years and our oldest single decker in everyday use. Credit to our superb maintenance team 👍

We apologise for delays to our 780 and x70 service but unfortunately we were stuck in The bus station waiting for this to move earlier on......

Happy Yorkshire day from a Company well and truly rooted in Yorkshire! Ripon market place is closed today for a celebration so the RS1-3 are all going to have to divert via the fire station to the bus station. We may have some delays as a result

We are altering the times of some of our services from 23rd July to try and improve reliability. This involves our X1, X6, X70 and 780 services. The X1 is to change to every 30 minutes over the peaks - which we hope will make it run better to time. The X70 it going to only run to Tadcaster every two hours as, despite our best efforts, there aren't enough customers to warrant an hourly bus service. The rest of the service remains unchanged. The 780 times alter but it gives a t...wo hourly service through the day in both directions with a later journey back from Knaresborough The X6 at 1730 is withdrawn owing to lack of patronage.

This evening, our X52 leaving Ilkley at 1725 will be unable to serve Burras Lane owing to the road being closed for the cycle race. All other stops and other services through the day aren't affected!

So - from a day driving on 38 today, I have a few pics to select for the next timetable cover.... but which one?!

Last weeks first time MOT pass thanks to our excellent team in the Connexionsbuses Workshop JSU721, the second of our Euro 4 Scanias which are regulars on the service 38 - and the second one tested in two weeks!

You never know who you’re going to see driving on Super13! Beats sitting at the desk on a glorious day! We could have delays to some services in York owing to York races - a reminder that the 21 doesn’t serve south bank on Race Days. Thanks!

Our XNT 421 on service 38 today in the glorious sunshine. On Wednesday this bus was our 27th straight pass at MOT To pass at MOT, you are not even allowed to adjust the headlights at test otherwise it is classed as a fail! Our maintenance team really are top notch

X1 is diverting today because of road closures for the Great Knaresborough Bed race- Our 15 minute service will divert via Forest Lane and Calcutt dropping at the fire station for the town centre. Travel in style with the best value buses in Harrogate If you have never been to the bedrace before, today's the day to watch! It's a great spectacle and well worth seeing.

Tour de Yorkshire is coming this Friday causing chaos on route X52, and also School service X73. For X52 we are unable to serve Ilkley Bus Station but will be terminating at Valley Drive/Junction of Wyvil Crescent. In addition, the 1535, 1630 from Harrogate will not operate, neither will the 1525 and 1630 from Ilkley. However, the 1725 from Ilkley and 1735 from Harrogate will run as normal (we hope!) For pupils from St Aidans and St John Fishers, those on X52 will need to be ...out to catch the 1430 from Harrogate which will divert via the schools. Additionally, the X73 will, depart at 1430 from the schools. Other school services (we believe) can operate as normal - although the information we are working from is not very good. Wish you could take on First Bus in Leeds and show how to run a bus service on time.....Like you do on the number 38 and number 8 services

Well done Bob! driving that old double decker 21 bus round town today , after a problem with our little bus.

The best thing about connexions is the staff. They are always friendly regardless of how heavy the traffic is.

Friendly helpful drivers, as long as you treat them well they'll treat you well.

If you've ever been upset by their actions you're probably a total arse and deserve it!

Reliable, cheap and cheerful... What more could someone want from a public service.

For a stand alone company who mostly to my knowledge are not helped by the local council run services that larger companies do not or couldn't make successful . Craig provides rural services to folk who need them .

Friendly drivers who drive regular services who get to know their customers.

This is a family run business who care about their staff and customers alike !

May the company continue to grow and become more recognised in the York area.

Just had T575 on 38 to White Rose and the driver was very friendly to passengers (including myself). Nice to see not every driver out there is miserable and some make the effort to make their customers smile

Really disappointed with this service, specifically school buses to Tadcaster Grammar School. I have just received a letter advising of your price increase due to a 'massive hike' in insurance.

I'm sure people don't mind paying the increase for a good service. But I don't feel you provide one. I am aware that on a daily basis many children on the 61 bus have to sit on the steps or stand. Surely this is a huge risk? You have a duty of care to provide safe transport. I have received phone calls from my children on several occasions asking me to pick them up as the bus has yet again broken down. Having to leave work early is an inconvenience when I have specifically paid for a service, which I feel currently isn't it fit for purpose. I look forward to your reply.

Very poor sevice refusing to answer my email regarding the driver that attemped to kill me the other day, what is the reason for this, that driver could easily put someone in hospital or even kill them. Please train your drivers or stop employing idiots.

This isn't the first and it won't be the last time I complain and I'm sure it won't be the last for others ! After having whiteness the police have been called and are coming out regarding your driver nearly killing my horse down knapton yesterday! When I rang the office you claimed the driver was doing 30kph, which is clearly a lie as some one had already complained how fast your driver was going !!

One of the bus drivers drove into my car after pulling over to try talk to him he verbally attacked me in front of my 9 using words my daughter has never heard not only was it disgusting behaviour in front of kids he’s was also rascist

My 13 year old son is missing out on his education as your driver failed to stop yet again!!! Its a school service, door to door and I pay a fortune for it!!! Shocking attitude from your operations manager when I called as well �

I would just like to say thank you for your driver's once again choosing to drive over the verge outside my house, turning it once again into a scene from the Somme in 1916, rather than keeping on the road and under the speed limit - two things which funnily enough are required by law, but hey ho, it doesn't seem to matter on our street.



So for the fourth time in two years I am left with paying for repairs caused by the ignorance of your drivers.

I have this morning witnessed the most appalling piece of driving!!! I’ve bought my horse to countryside live in Harrogate and the utter dickhead of a driver that cut me up on Flaxton roundabout wants a sodding slap!!!! The bus a white single decker with Harrogate traveller I think on the side... with your name on the back, proceeded to cut me up and then fly around the roundabout with such a lean on, you could almost see it tipping over!!!! I was raving. Drivers like that do not deserve a professional licence and I suggest you have a word!!! ���

I am so disappointed and annoyed with the driver of the bus I am currently sat on. I am on the 412 from York at 16.27 pm to Harrogate. His driving is atrocious!! He's driving far too fast and is quite frankly dangerous!! His braking is so hard that people are lurching forward and having to cling on for dear life!! He has driven past a lady on a horse at such high speed that the horse reared up and nearly threw her off. He didn't even have the decency to get off and apologise and ask if she was ok. Just sat and looked in his mirror and then drove off. I have heard numerous people complain about his driving whilst sat here. One lady even came up to me and said she has complained about him before but you have obviously done nothing about him. I hope you read this, can identity which driver you have put on this route and do something about him I.e. Sack him!! ��

Extremely rude and abusive drivers! I wasn't even on the bus and the driver shouted abuse at us! I emailed a complaint which nobody got back to me about. This explains what happened......



To whom it may concern,



I just wanted to make you aware of the rude and dangerous actions of one of your drivers this morning.



The bus was traveling down Hamilton drive in acomb from the direction of holgate road, traveling towards acomb. One of your drivers had overtaken parked cars, so was on the wrong side of the road. He had clearly seen we were traveling towards him yet still chose to continue, leaving us to have to stop even though it was clearly our right of way. We had no where left to go because he was now on our side of the road. Then he had the absolute cheek to start shouting abuse at us and calling us f'ing idiots. Claiming he had already committed to over taking the cars and we should have pulled in for him! We didn't have anywhere to pull in and ended up having to drive on to the verge to get past him!



We are absolutely disgusted with his behaviour and I suggest you make him aware that it's unacceptable to be so rude to innocent drivers! I had my 9 month old son in the car to make matters worse.



I didn't catch the number plate but it was at 10:32am this morning (2/6/17) on Hamilton drive, heading into acomb from holgate.



I thought i should make you aware as I'm sure it isn't in the drivers job description to be so vile and dangerous.
