Construction Safety (CS) Ltd provide an independent health and safety advisory service to assist companies – both retained and non-retained – with the implementation of a positive health and safety culture and fulfilment of duties placed on them. In accordance with The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, every organization is required to have access to competent health and safety advice. We can act in that role, and retained clients are entitled to use our company name and supporting information on tender submissions to demonstrate that they have access to health and safety support. With 40 years experience in the construction sector, we help companies meet the ever changing and demanding health and safety requirements placed upon them – providing an "arm around the shoulder", and straightforward, sensible, open and honest approach. We are also professional Fire Risk Assessors, holding membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and certificated to the BAFE Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment (SP205) scheme. This scheme has been developed by BAFE with industry experts committed to providing quality guidance in relation to fire safety, primarily emphasizing the importance of fire risk assessments. In addition, we provide a range of accredited and certificated courses, including the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and UKATA Asbestos Awareness. Our retained clients are entitled to a discount on training fees and this is offered as an incentive to ensure that an appropriately trained workforce is maintained. Courses can be held at our training centre, at your premises or on site.
