Constructive Translations Description
Constructive Translations is a UK-based language services provider. We focus on narrow subject areas – construction and engineering – and recruit leading experts and linguists with proven expertise in those areas. Our core team have construction or engineering qualifications or experience and are able to fully understand the needs and requirements of our clients. In addition, we have strict requirements with regards to linguistic or translation qualifications. Our linguists hold recognized qualifications in translation or interpreting as well as in the appropriate technical areas.
Our linguists have a precise understanding of foreign standards, codes and regulatory frameworks; this means we can give our clients the best possible basis for cooperation with foreign partners or suppliers. In cases where the client would be best served by documents such as a simple summary of the document, rather than a full translation, our team of experts will work hard to understand the clients’ requirements and meet them in the fastest, more precise, cost-effective way.
With our narrow focus on the industry we attract talented and passionate staff members who share our interest in the field. We also have a strict continuing professional development policy for our team which means they will continually improve and adapt as the environment changes, so we can best help our clients grow. We spend a great deal of time giving feedback to our staff, allowing them to grow and learn as our clients grow and learn. We use a smaller team of freelancers than many agencies and work very closely with them to help them grow and continue to offer the best possible value to clients.
We aim to be a trusted partner to our clients, ensuring that their communications in other languages go smoothly, with minimized costs and maximized benefits. We also help our clients understand the business and legal environment in new markets. The combined experience of our team means that our clients are able to appear equally professional and knowledgeable when communicating in different languages. Since the team have expertise in construction and engineering, we are able to prevent costly misunderstandings or communications or regulations. We pride ourselves in identifying possible mistakes in texts or issues which the clients would have been unaware of.
