I've been twice to change my address in my I'd card. Both times I had been served nearly immediately with respect and efficiently. A big clap for the consulate.

Nice people who helped me with my problem

People are friendly and willing to help. I've seen people who complain walk in as if they were royalty...

Visited back in November, I must give them 5 starts because although the facilities are from the 80s, staff was very helpful and polite (Estefania, Legal dept). And you could see that they were trying to be as helpful as they could although they are very stretched with staff and under pressure, but not their fault, more than the previous ambassador and the government at the time! Hopefully things now will improve

I flew from Aberdeen to London only to attend my Argentina visa application and unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience. One of the staff members was very aggressive and rude for the sole reason that I asked her if I could change my travel date on the visa application to a few months later. She started saying how she had to give me an emergency appointment because I had said I wanted to travel after two months, after cancelling so many appointments. That seemed like a lie because there was no waiting queue of applicants at the embassy. In fact I was the only one. Besides I had not even asked for an emergency appointment.

The second worst part was when they asked for bank statement of the whole year. I have been to 49 countries and I have never submitted more than 6 months of bank statements with any visa application. Similarly I had taken 6 months bank statements with me. I told them I could send them the remaining 6 months by post or email, but the lady declined to cooperate. She said I had to come back in person with the remaining 6 months of bank statements. I told her I lived a thousand miles away and had to spend several hundred pounds on flights and hotels and took a day off from work just to come to London for Argentina visa application and it is very difficult to do that again. She was not moved and insisted that I must come again to London to bring additional 6 months of bank statements! The worst part was however her very aggressive demeanor.

I was so disappointed that I gave up on the idea of going to Argentina altogether.
