Consulting with Purpose Ltd (CWP) has been providing renewable energy consulting services and delivering successful sustainable energy initiatives for clients since 2008. Our consultants have many years' experience of working within the UK's environmental, renewable energy and sustainability sectors at grass roots level, as campaigners, project developers, technical experts and policy advisors. From our base in Yorkshire we work across the UK, in the EU and globally offering our services to clients from private and public sector organisations, local and national government, NGO's, industry, academia and the third sector. Our knowledge and experience extends across all new and renewable energy technologies but we have particular expertise in the biomass, energy from waste, wind and solar sectors. We also have unique experience in the field of standards, accreditation and certification. We have played a key role in developing the UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and we also work closely with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). Through this work we have developed an outstanding network of industry contacts and close working relationships with government departments and agencies including DBEIS and Ofgem.
