Continental Biomass Company is a privately held company that brokers and trades both agricultural commodities and vegetable oil and wood. The principals of Continental Biomass Company have 45 years of combined experience sourcing, producing, marketing and exporting liquidi and solid biomass. To date, Continental Biomass Company has exported more than 25000Mton of vegetable oil, 8mil. tons of cereals and four million metric tons of wood chips. With referal to wood chips biomass, Continental Biomass Company wood chips are produced from the necessary tree thinning of private timberlands in the southeastern Slovakia, northern of Poland and in some no-european countries like Canada, and are Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) procurement certified. Continental Biomass Company wood chips are used in the manufacture of paper pulp, particleboard, medium density fibreboard and for the generation of clean, renewable energy in biomass fired power plants.
