After working for us for nearly twenty years, today we have said bon voyage to our dear friend and faithful delivery driver Lenny Williams. We wonder how many cases of wine Len has carried on our behalf over the years. Pushing 70 years old, he still delivers faster than most 18 year olds could and we are sure we could count the number of breakages he has had on one hand! Bye bye Len, enjoy your well earned retirement and thank you from all of us for your hard work, honesty and co-operation. Now go and get your fishing rod out, dust down your tackle box and enjoy taking it easy.

It’s all hands to the deck this week as the Christmas rush gets underway! Our warehouse is well stocked and orders are being prepared by our loyal staff who always do us proud by stepping up several gears through manic December...well done everybody!

Our wonderful air conditioning unit working very hard night and day at the moment. Keeping all our wine stocks nice a cool. Here are the stocks waiting on our lovely customers to call their orders in, when we can then deliver promptly, with all wines in pristine condition for your enjoyment!

Wow..what a week! We have been so busy and everyone has worked so hard...we all step up at Christmas and it's lovely to see our dedicated staff enjoying the December buzz!!! Thank you so much to our loyal customers and our conscientious staff!!

The second evening of three in a row tonight, supporting our good friends at South Farm with their client menu tastings. Each evening 70 plus brides and grooms come along, taste just about everything that is offered by South Farm and then choose their wedding breakfast. We go as support and talk to loads of lovely, excited couples about which wines will go with their particular choice. Always fun, always jolly and always loads to eat!!

Some of the restaurant staff at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, waiting to start last nights food and wine comparison tasting. We went along and introduced them to a selection of wines from their wine list and then their talented chefs brought out some lovely dishes currently available on the restaurant menu. Informative and a very worthwhile exercise.

Well, the 'big' event has happened!! Two Ochoa Gran Reserva 2000 nebuchadnezzar's opened in celebration of our lovely friends, the now Mr and Mrs Kevin Morgan's wedding on Thursday. What a fantastic day it was!! Alongside lots of Champagne and Albariño the guests were very complimentary about all the wines, although they only managed to get through one and a half of the big boys!! - So a few of us had to return to Redcoats Farmhouse Hotel the following day and finish the job over lunch! Pictured is the lovely April who helped oversee the day on behalf of the hotel just going off for a dance with the first bottle which was nearly as big as her!! Well done Redcoats, well done Kevin and Tracie and well done Ochoa!!

We think it is safe to say that this is the biggest bottle of wine we have ever taken delivery of. Pictured next to an ordinary 75cls bottle, it is the equivalent to 20 bottles!!! All in preparation for a special wedding looming in September. We have two of them!!

Well we didn't do bad....basically runners up, but watch this space for next year folks!!!! Many thanks to all of you who voted for us....it really is appreciated
