Composer, musicologist and blogger Robert Hugill (Planet Hugill) is the focus of Sunday's Concert (5th), in an evening inspired by English and Welsh poets including Rowan Williams, Shelley and Christina Rosetti. "Anna Huntley... has a superb voice, just right for the music; Rosalind Ventris's viola itself sings almost vocally” said one review of Hugill’s CD ‘Quickening’. Robert will introduce the programme with a FREE pre-concert talk, and join the musicians after the perform...ance for a Q&A. It’s an evening of wonderful British music, not to be missed. - more info and tickets: po.st/hugill - *free* for those under 26, courtesy of the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust.
