Cook & Create is cooking experience for children aged 9 -14 to introduce them to having fun in the kitchen whilst learning essential skills for life

Cook & Create is a series of workshops for children aged 10-13 yrs to introduce them to having fun in the kitchen whilst learning essential skills for life by baking, cooking & creating a variety of different dishes.

Morning and day workshops take place with a variety of themes involving the use of many different ingredients & teaching cooking skills to equip children to cook confidently at home.

All ingredients are provided within the cost of the workshop-just bring an apron and containers to take your goodies home in. There are a variety of students from different local schools attending so it’s a great chance to socialise and either come as friends or make some.

Unfortunately these classes have limited spaces available so do book early! Dates for a variety of workshops in 2016 will be available soon.

Maggie is an experienced Home Economics & Food teacher having taught the subject for many years in Surrey and Sussex Secondary schools. She has 3 grown up daughters they all love to cook & now her toddler grandson enjoys being in the kitchen with her too!

Maggie teaches groups in the school holidays with the aim for Cook & Create classes to inspire, encourage and build confidence whilst having fun.
