It’s friday night.....

Ever fancied learning to play the guitar? Need a guitar refresher? We've arranged for a local guitar tutor to give lessons throughout the day. Just drop in when it's convenient from 10am to 4pm. Haven't got a guitar?... don't worry... borrow one of ours.

We've invited local guitar tutor Andy Norman to come in and give a day's worth of guitar lessons. All abilities will be catered for - from complete beginners to those who'd like a refresher. Andy will be here from 10am to 4pm, running 20 minute sessions, so simply drop in when it is convenient. Bring your guitar if you have one, but you can use one of ours if you haven't.

Really awesome shop with great staff! Needed my guitar sorting as it was buzzing at higher frets and I thought it may be a worn top nut but the staff found it was the truss rod, mentioned I have a gig coming up next week and they managed to rush my guitar through to sort it within 2 days even though i was told the waiting list for repairs may be 4 days. �

Not enough music shops to go in and look a round any more , this is one of a few bought some cymbals and drums sticks of them always good quality

Just purchased some new Zildjian cymbals! Got to try them out in store and once I'd decided which ones to get, Simon did me a great deal! What more could you ask for!

I have bought loads of guitars from Cookes over the years for my children and for myself. The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Just lately I've bought a beautiful Martin guitar and am trying to find a guitar to take travelling with me. Matthew has been very helpful - I have returned two guitars because having got them home and played them , I realised they weren't suitable. No problems returning them. I shall go to Cookes this weekend to try again.

All in all they provide a first class service.

I have been a customer here for a while and have always been happy with their advice, knowledge and service. Today however was exceptional and all the staff rallied round to help me solving an issue I had 24 hours to resolve, hunting he stock room and trolling their computer for the best solution. 100% recommended for any audio query

Had a pickup (EMG 81) installed into my Squier Tele Custom today. Immaculate job, guitar came back to me in even better condition than I left it! Cleaned up beautifully and jack tightened. Pickup is perfect and cannot complain at all about the service or timescale for the completion. Brilliant.

Excellent service from the guys in Cookes! Took my guitar in for a new pickup to be fitted, and to get a general set up. Ben got this all done in no time and did an amazing job! I was happy with the setup the way it was, but now I can't believe how much better this is to play now!!

Easily the best store in Norwich, Cookes have on numerous occassions ordered me in products other stores do not / will not stock & matched them to internet prices, to boot, they're also a nice, helpful group of guys.
