We used to go to Cookson Spice a lot but haven't been for a while now, went last night, two of us for a wonderful meal that we both enjoyed and decided we must come more often, staff are so nice and attentive

Can't ask for more, we will be back.

This is a great Indian restaurant food is always great and well presented,good menu plenty choice ,the staff are fantastic always pleasant and very willing to take time to explain anything on the menu you are not sure about ,highly recommend a visit

Ive had takeaways a few times which were always very good. Last night ate at the restaurant for a change and to be totally honest, can't remember ever having a better Indian meal anywhere. Everything was so tasty and cooked to perfection...chicken literally melted in my mouth. Perfect and very reasonably priced, too

I was dropped off to buy a meal at Sainsbury's round the corner as I live nearby. Saw Cookson Spice so decided to have a wick sit in curry. It was probably the best curry I have ever eaten in my 69 years.

The description is irrelevant just go there if you live In the area. I played the Cookson Spice Blues after my meal on their fab high quality Epiphone Guitar which the boss says will be posted on FB soon.

I love this place been a few times and I am that impressed with the service the friendly staff that I am having a special birthday meal here. Everything is lovely and food very special and I'm sure gets better everytime I eat here best place around!

I have visited here and had take aways on few occasions and always enjoy the food. Last night I visited for a night out and a catch up with lads from work and enjoyed liver tikka followed by Hari Mirch both absolutely amazing. Rather than get naan bread I got chips . They do the best chips ever. Highly recommend this place.

I have been to the Cookson Spice twice now, both times with my brother and both times we have had absolutely beautiful food, it's a great atmosphere and the staff are supurb and very friendly :D. Will definitely be returning :D

Can't fault it. Used to get takeaways from here years ago and been telling the other half we need to go for nearly 5 years! 7 of us went last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got various starters including samosas, mixed kebabs, prawn on puri they were lovely and just the right portion sizes. For mains we had a korma, madras, do pizza and they were all amazing. Indians would usually be my last choice of take away/restaurant but I love it here and then staff are very attentive. We'll definitely be back

A fantastic eating place tucked away in the middle of an estate. Went there yesterday after having a lovely afternoon in Newcastle centre. Of all the eating places we passed we headed home and went to Cooksons. Were ensured a fantastic curry. Excellent service and great value. Best curry house i have ever been to.

We called in to Cookson Spice for a takeaway, but actually when we arrived we decided to eat in.



Service was excellent, the starter was outstanding - but by the time we got to mains we were literally stuffed!! They happily boxed our main as a takeout.



Overall, a very good meal, good quality and excellent service

Very nice food and nice place. Service was just a little bit slow but was quite busy to be fair

Had a table booked for 7.15 and got our main course at 9.15

The food is fantastic but they must get more staff and up there game on the service they give

Been a few year since we last had a takeaway from here. Food was ok but nothing special. I got a dish with potatoe in that were undercooked. Most of all i was gob smacked by the prices been charged for what was average takaway at best. £2.80 for a nan 8.50 for a main no rice, Realy? If cookson spice wants to charge resturant prices for takeaway at the very least make sure its top quality. Ill never set foot in there again.
