We may be a little late to the volunteers week celebrations held across the country last week but we wanted to say a great big thank you nonetheless...
To all the volunteers that came together for us and for many of our stall holders at the English Country Garden Festival on 1st and 2nd June.
Without volunteers, our festival simply wouldn't work anywhere near as well - and we are blessed to have such a great bunch supporting us with the event year on year.
... Extra special thanks also goes to the cheery brigade of volunteers that came along with Childrens Hospice South West once again this year and worked their socks off - enabling festival visitors to enjoy tea on the terrace and traditional garden games on the croquet lawn.
All in all a resounding success, and we're pleased to hear that Childrens Hospice South West were able to raise over ┬Ż4000 from the tea sales and from some very generous visitor donations.

What a weekend... what a show!
We may well be exhausted today - but we are utterly delighted to confirm that we welcomed over 3000 visitors through the gates for our English Country Garden Festival 2019.
An incredible number for our 8th year of the show - all coming together in the sunshine and the rain - to enjoy the fruits of our special event and the gardens of our home.
... Our thanks once again, to everyone for coming along, and for all the kind messages of support and appreciation we've received - for the event, for our family, staff and volunteers, and of course for our superb stall holders.
It's safe to say we all worked hard and pulled out the stops this year.
Professional photographer Venetia Norrington came along and joined the celebrations on the Saturday, and this morning we've received the first few images which capture the atmosphere and the happiness of our much loved show perfectly...
