Copse Cottage Description

For breakfast we offer fresh fruit, cereal, homemade granola, yoghurt as well as English breakfast to set you up for the day (special dietary requests can be catered)

The space
The house is set next to the bridleway and within close proximity of great walks and beautiful views of the Dorset countryside. We don't have street lights so on a clear night you can see stars and hear owls hooting!
On the ground floor we have our guest breakfast room which also has a TV for use by our guests. The bedroom is on the first floor and accessed by a straight flight of stairs from the front door. The bedroom, has its own en-suite bathroom with a full sized bath and a separate walk in shower.
In case you want to come with friends or family, we do have 2 bedrooms available for B& B, please see our other listing.

Guest access
On arrival, please park on the driveway, we can meet and greet you and show you to your room on the first floor via the front door.
We provide a hospitality tray and welcome cake for your arrival in each room.
Guests have use of the front breakfast room with TV if they wish during their stay.

Interaction with guests
We can interact with you as much or as little as you prefer. We can help with recommendations for your plans to visit the local area and places to eat and drink in the local area.

Other things to note
If you need an early breakfast please just let me know, breakfast time can be flexible. Normal Breakfast time otherwise would be between 8-10 am. Special dietary requests can be accommodated, however, advanced warning would be appreciated. Please just let me know.

We do have two friendly dogs, they are both half poodle so their hair is non-shedding and therefore allergy friendly (tried and tested! )
The Copse Cottage chickens supply our eggs for breakfast, you can see them in the top rear garden.

Check in time is 3PM - 8PM
- Please arrive between 3pm and 8pm
- If you must arrive after 8pm please let us know so that someone is here to greet you.
- Please do not smoke or us e-cigs in rooms or grounds of premises.
- Lost keys are charged at £15.
- As we are not licensed please feel free to bring your own wine or champagne, we can provide more glasses on request.
- Please ensure your room is vacated between 1030 and 2pm for cleaning.

The neighborhood
Chrissie’s home is located in Cheselbourne, England, United Kingdom.
Cheselbourne sits in an area of ANOB (area of natural outstanding beauty) surrounded by easy access walks with beautiful countryside views. Cheselbourne Church is nearby which is 13thC. There are several nice country pubs just a short drive from the village. Our local village pub is currently being refurbished but will be reopening again in the near future. There are lovely open spaces for walks straight from the house, don't forget your sturdy shoes or boots. On a clear night you can see the stars and hear the owls!

Getting around
We have parking on the driveway next to the house.
We are within easy access of many attractions, up to 30 minute road access to the Jurrassic Coast and other local attractions.

Locally there is Althelhampton House & Gardens is 4 miles (12 min drive). Also Milton Abbas and Milton Abbey is 6 miles (16 min drive), Monkey World is 13 miles (25 min drive) The Bovington Tank Museum is 12 miles (23 min drive), Kingston Maurward College and their House and Gardens is 8 miles (20 min drive) as well as several Museums in Dorchester which is 9 miles (19 min drive). They are very easy to get to.
