Lovely view of the area. We stayed in room 2 which has recently been updated and the bed is huge! Staff friendly. Only negative was being asked to pay immediately upon arrival (already had my card details). It was an anniversary trip and didn't really want my wife to be aware of cost so felt a little discretion here would have been better. Other than that though we had a very nice time and would definitely return. We got married here 2 years ago and would also recommend for weddings too

Lovely hotel, stunning scenery, excellent service and great food. Was shown to the room which is rate these days, lovely touch. Helpful staff even suggested we might like to finish out breakfast juices outside as the day was so nice. Would recommend highly, especially once the already spacious and tasteful rooms have had the light revamp they talked about. Was a pleasure staying with you.

Pleasant stay here. Close to the centre of town. Central for travellers. Golf course l/4 of a mile from hotel. Good breakfast.

I am busy planning a wedding. It's a lot of fun for my fiancé and I. We are both obviously human. I just happen to be sick and in a wheel chair. I didn't say to hotels I was looking at that I'm in a wheel chair because I'm looking for a venue that doesn't look at me like an inconvenience but rather a human. No attempt by this hotel. Unapologetically and categorically inaccessible to older people, people in wheel chairs or in fact anyone not completely able. Used the excuse of an old building. Then the excuse of cost. Then said I should have told them. Then said they aren't planning on making it accessible in the near future. Finally, when I was heart broken as you would be as a 24 year old, looked at me like I was unreasonable for saying it's 2017 and disabled people do get married.

Friendly, likeable and professional staff. Can't comment on food as was there in a professional capacity and did not eat there.

Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable, though the bed was a little firm for our taste. Would go back.
