Insane consistency at speed of World and Olympic Champion Ma Long of China. Thanks for digging this out Zak Weaver! That's where we're heading...

We now recycle 96% of our waste. Thanks to Brewers Decorators of Corby for the clear bags! (and for providing so many other decorating materials that built the club). #recycle

Great performance from Reece Radford tonight, picking up two wins and then playing a real captain's role when teaming up with the very inexperienced Joe Corner to take the doubles as well. Great leadership from Reece who was offering encouragement to Joe and debutant Adrian Gardiner all evening. Reece also took a game off the vastly experienced Pete Sturges. Although Joe lost all 3 matches, he did win his first ever game and came within 1 point of levelling that match at 2-2 before losing it 12-10.
Fantastic to see two other newcomers playing for Rothborough as well who both picked up wins. And great to see Pete Sturges, Pete Rowbotham and the legend that is David Steele offering these new players some excellent support.

Last day to enter our superleague tournament and still a couple of places available. Get in touch today and book your place!

Welcome to Viola Gega. Former Greek Junior International. Nice to have you here. Let's have a great time 😊

Another very competitive fixture vs Sycamore but the same 3-6 scoreline that we had the first time we played them. Very little in it in many of the games. Cameron was edged out in 3 close games in the top match vs Harry before picking up a fine win vs Ethan. Gary recorded his first win. Alex, after playing really well all weekend secured a welcome win over Amy and just lost out to Sycamore's Alex 3-2.

User

Again some really close games and the final result doesn't really do justice to the closeness of the match. Great win for Cameron though to finally get us on the board.

User

Another tough match vs the top of the table Archway Peterborough 2nd team who are the bookies favourites to win the division. The matches went to form with Peterborough claiming a 9-0 win. Alex came closest to preventing the whitewash, narrowly losing 11-9 in the decider to Miroslav Padzior.

User

A 9-0 loss vs league leaders Colebridge doesn't reflect the closeness of the match. Alex and Cameron both lost in 5. Twelve games went to deuce but we only won 3 of them #smallmargins #winthetightones #wegoagain

Some excellent results from our two teams playing in the National Junior League today. The hard work they have been putting in is starting to be rewarded with some great success against (mainly) older and more experienced players.

Superb purpose built facility and a warm, friendly welcome. Great value for money. The coaches are encouraging, very knowledgeable and highly effective. Thoroughly recommend. We are two hours away but will be coming again which speaks for itself.

My wife June and I had a fantastic time last weekend at Corby Smash. We signed up for the Saturday player development training, and as we live over 2 hours away decided to book an overnight stay at the nearby Premier Inn on Friday night. This enabled us to have an hour and a half assessment session with Colin. From his expert observation and discussion with us he was able to set out a personalised training program for our Saturday session.

Really enjoyed this, a mix of practical, theory and the mental side of the game. Brilliant.

A superb facility and friendly welcoming staff.

A big thank you to Colin and Adam for your knowledge and encouragement and giving us an enjoyable and beneficial weekend.

We will be returning soon.

Iris Tinto A great Ladies Session with lovely people last night. This is such a friendly club - if you just want to have a knock about - great. There's no pressure to be an expert but if you're looking to improve your game there are experts on hand to help. Our session consists of some coaching by Adam and then we have a break for some healthy snacks and refreshments followed by practising and games. You can do as much or as little as you like. BUT if you want more then there are great opportunities for coaching and tips. The staff there are so helpful. We would like more ladies to join us - Wednesdays 5.00 - 6.30 pm (£5 or £7.50). C'mon down we'd love to see you.

I had a great days training today, it's a fantastic club with a lovely atmosphere and very welcoming. Great facilities for disabled players too. I would recommend you all to go and give a go, table tennis is a great sport.

User

I had a great 'sparring' session with Tony and think I am hooked despite not having played for forty years. The rust fell off in flakes! I shall be back. It is a great concept and set up and I hope the centre goes from strength to strength.

User

I don't go myself but my 9 year old son does I can't thank everyone enough not only has it got my son into a sport and of the xbox but has given a shy boy the confidence to make friends x

User

Had a very enjoyable day at the player development camp. Excellent facilities and knowledgeable coaches with the camps catering for abilities from beginner to experienced player. Thanks to Colin, Tony and Henry.

User

Great place with great facilities and a very friendly atmosphere. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.

User

Great concept , enthusiastic and caring team who have re-energised the Kettering League with their facility for table tennis and players in the area.

User

First visit with my husband Colin last Friday evening and all day Saturday. Coach Colin Wilson very frendly and professional. My husband is a premiership standard player whilst I am an improving intermediate. The method of coaching enabled us both to take part at the correct level for our abilities at the same time. The mixture of theory is very well balanced alongside practical sessions. Last session devised for myself and another player was on the robot. Fantastic experience. A huge thank you to Colin Wilson and his son Adam, who combine perfectly to instruct, encourage and endeavour that you get everything from the day that you want. It worked and I have been able to put many new skills to effect in this weeks matches. Looking forward to another visit. Just wish this superb facility was in Shrewsbury.

Best Place ever... Great Coaching and players. Plus it ls always kept me out of trouble and the atmosphere and competition is great. They've got me to such a great standard in only a year and I've lost a lot of weight just from continuing this great sport... Come up and see if you can't get hooked but I bet you can't. It's so addictive. Highly recommended for players of all standard and also players with disabilities as they are all so welcoming.
