Cordwainers Grow

We support and promote community gardens in Hackney. We are a small community organisation which grew out of a garden, now closed to make way for a development.

Community gardens provide environmental, mental, physical and social health benefits and we think that everyone should have the right to enjoy them. They are under threat, though, from development so we aim to secure their future through a Union of Hackney Gardens and our Gardens Manifesto.
