Corinne'S Surf Tour

Today Sat 30th Sept 2017, I have had an amazing adventure into the world of surfing thanks to Corrine Evans and her team of dedicated instructors and helpers. Today I surfed for the very first time. Met some very inspirational women, and made new friends. Why have I never surfed before? I have only ever caught the waves on boogie board and each time I screamed like a big kid riding a bike for the very first time. But today was different. The board was longer, bigger, faster and a wee tad heavier.... but bloody hell it was amazing. Never got to my feet on the board, but too my knees on at least 3 occasions.... (give us a break it was ny first time) next time maybe.... for sure.

Then the afternoon was spent doing Yoga and a HITT session as part of the days events. (Corrine Evans Surf Tour) Surf Bettys Festival Great Western Beach Newquay. Great way to spend my Saturday. Me time...recovering after losing my Uncle Paddy and a great work collleague and friend Justine. Best way to recover trust me.

The day was fun filled, and very exciting, with great company and a raffle to boot. Yip. I won a couple of prizes too.

Thanks Corinne and gang. Keep up this amazing venture which pulls together women from all walks of live for a bit of inspiration and a hell of a lot of fun. � All money raised from todays event going to help victims of Hurican Irma. I'll be keeping a look out for more of this ar next years event. Might even bring my girls along for the trip if they are down home.

Had so much fun!! An excellent day of fun in the sun and sea!! Would recommend to anyone looking for some surfing skills and a chilled no pressure day being a mermaid!! � Started with beach yoga, then a lovely surf, excellent lunch and the more surfing! Thank you!
