This month's Wine producer of the Month is Larry Cherubino and his Ad Hoc collection. These come from an award winning producer from Western Australia and they are delightful!

Often here for a drink and walk around the lake, this time we were here for the Steak Night great value for money and also noticed the regular menu with some very interesting dishes, so now it will be more eating and less walking as this is 5 star + for all food, staff and drinks, we will be back ��

Never fails to disappoint. The staff, food and service is second to none! They accommodated our every request for the 75 people here tonight and some of which they only found out about tonight. Thank you all for making the retirement meal for our Headteacher so perfect!

My first visit. Modern surroundings in a Beautiful setting. A varied appetising menu. I had the salmon with crispy skin, but although the skin was not crisp I don't eat fish skin anyway so it wasn't a problem. One friend had the bubble and squeak risotto which was divine. The other had fish and chips - battered. But again the skin was left on. Skin should never be left on if fish is battered. However it still deserves 5 stars in my book. Waiter was charming and attentive. I will return.

My family have been to Corner 5 Restaurant on a number of occasions. 6 years ago I took my family there and paid for a meal to celebrate putting the past behind me, the food and drinks were superb quality and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly.



3 years on (2015) my wife and I had our wedding reception in the function room upstairs. The venue offers such a lovely setting with the balcony overlooking the lake, both day and night Box End Park/Corner 5 is very picturesque.



We chose one of the set menues for our wedding breakfast, everyone was served without delay, the food was of very high quality and anyone with dietary requirements catered for. So many said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We used Big Bopper the venues preferred DJ, Damian sorted out everything for us including fairy lights for the balcony at night. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Corner 5.



We have since been back for lunches and celebrating our wedding anniversary, each time having a very enjoyable meal in a great building and overlooking a lovely lake with lots to look at. Staff always helpful.



More recently(2018) we celebrated my wife's 30th birthday, the team put together an afternoon tea for us on the balcony. They helped us arrange for soft play for the children, helped put a menu together, helped decorate the balcony and made the day so special.



If you want to speak to someone that will help you plan any special occasion, ask for Adrian. We met Adrian for the first time when looking around the venue for a potential wedding reception location. Adrian let's the limitless potential of the venue talk for itself and will help you with your plans from the start right through to the end of your special occasion.



Lastly, in Bedford there are so many places to eat and drink and we go to many of them. For those that are considering a place to go whether it be for a lunch, dinner, special occasion/celebration or to enjoy the great outdoors, Box End Park/Corner 5 Restaurant offers something special, something personal and something you will remember.

Lovely place to eat & catch up with friends for a relaxed lunch or a dress up dinner.

Had my baby shower here over the weekend, staff amazing and beautiful settings over looking the lake!

Looking forward to returning with baby in tow to enjoy a yummy hot chocolate by the fire in the colder months �

I went for dinner with my Husband. It was a competition win and we had a wonderful evening. Firstly I must say how lovely the staff are. We had one lovely waitress who made us feel very special and relaxed. The atmosphere was also relaxing. I cannot say enough how amazing the food was. The tastes were gorgeous and the kitchen uses local produce which I loved. All in all a fabulous evening and I shall recommend to my friends. We will be back.

I love this restaurant. The setting is perfect and the staff so cheerful and helpful.

The food is beautifully presented and very tasty.

I ate here last night and have a large list of dietary requirements due to anaphylaxis which I let them know in advance and they were super helpful with it all and very careful to avoid cross contamination. The service was fab and we enjoyed our evening.

Had my works Corporate Meeting here and have to say what a wonderful place. Great staff and wonderful food.

Excellent, relaxed atmosphere and top quality food.

Fantastic place to go for lunch, and the steak night on Wednesdays is excellent value.

Amazing scenery and nothing better than a spot of lunch, followed by a gin and tonic on a sunny afternoon.

Booked a table for 4 to celebrate our anniversary, the food service and atmosphere brilliant with a fine evening to sit on the veranda over looking the lake while selecting from the Menu.

To finish off the meal the restaurant staff decorated our plates with Happy Anniversary which really made the night special...�

Went here last night for our xmas party, the place & all the staff were lovely. The food presentation was fabulous however the portion sizes were a little small for me. The table presentation was lovely, but the tables could of been bigger as we were all a bit squashed & there wasnt enough room on the table for everything. Great DJ & had a fab night dancing.

Given that I was part of a large group I thought the meal was first class. Egg benedict starter was tasty. Duck egg poached to perfection, served with fresh asparagus. For main course I chose the Pork and chorizo Wellington served with celeriac mash. Pastry was slightly moist with the pork and chorizo cooked to perfection. All in all great atmosphere, attentive service, an experience I will certainly be repeating when I'm next in the area. No hesitation in recommending Corner 5

Food over cooked and not great. Service was good, and it’s over priced for what is on the menu. Apart from that a nice evening.

Very disappointing, came for my mums birthday. Disinterested and to be honest quite unfriendly staff from the get go, was only offered one drink, no desserts offered, poor quality and not consistent standard of food. Used to come here all of the time, staff used to be lovely and food to a high standard. We always used to recommend to family and friends. Unfortunately wouldn’t be able to now.
