Cornerhouse is one of the UK's leading centres for film and visual arts. Since opening in 1985 it has achieved an international reputation for artistic excellence and innovation. Cornerhouse is revenue funded by Arts Council England North West, North West Vision, Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, Manchester City Council and the Arts Council of England, and receives over 300, 000 visitors per year.
